Whenever I looked at artist portfolios and websites, I often felt intimidated by how perfect and polished their pieces appeared. Many seemed hesitant to showcase the mistakes or rougher areas of their work, as if imperfection had no place in the creative process.
For me, mistakes are where growth happens. They’re an essential part of learning and improving. That’s why I don’t shy away from sharing some of my rougher sketches and unfinished work—they’re just as much a part of my artistic journey as the finished pieces.
